Works as advertised. Use it to regulate your Go Zero 10W solar panel. The controller installed on the panel wiring burned out so I cut it off, reconnected the wiring and installed that controller. I had to buy some reverse polarity connectors as my panel had the opposite connector configuration as the controller was connected. You need to make sure that + to +, - to -. Most people will tell you that you don't need a controller for a solar panel that only produces 10W, but given that I originally had one and the fact that it produces 20V DC in direct sunlight, I did it anyway. In addition, this description of the controller said that it works well with lower powered panels. Anyway, I always keep my Red Top battery fully charged in my Jeep. When I first installed it, the battery voltage was 11.3 volts; After 24 hours it was 12 volts. So it is charging and not just keeping a battery that is not very weak.
