<4 miles/day: so far so good

A friend suggested I try the Sparthos compression sleeves as he has been using the elbow pads for a few months now and is a fan of them. As I walk a lot (at least 4 miles a day depending on whether I exercise or not) I got myself a knee brace to replace my Copper Fit sleeves (they were fine but quickly deteriorated due to the amount of activity) . ). After a month of running and regular training I'm mostly happy with the switch to Sphthos and will almost certainly buy this backpack again. PROS: The case holds up to anything I throw at it. There doesn't seem to be any degradation in compression, above/below knee retention, or ventilation. I see the prospect of using Sparthos, especially as the cost per sleeve is less than the Copper Fit ($10 for CF vs $15 for 2 Sparthos). When I first received the sleeve I was concerned that the stiffer material (closer to the fabric than spandex) would restrict my range of motion, but that wasn't the case. I do everything I used to do in Copper Fit. I might as well go as far as to say that I don't feel as much pain in my knee after my workout as I usually do with Copper Fit. This isn't an allegation of cystic fibrosis, but I think Spartos figured out how to comfortably wrap my knee for stability and a speedy recovery. From a cosmetic point of view, the variety of colors and overall pattern of the sleeve gives you the support you need while looking stylish while you run or at the gym. CONS: Not much to say here. I've been using this over the winter months so I'm wondering how much heat it can hold when running on a hot humid day. I've had no problem in a hot gym, so I'm assuming any discomfort I'm experiencing in the warmer months is more my laziness than a problem with the Sparthos case. The time will show. My only concern (not a problem yet) is that I have hairy legs and see hair falling out of my sleeve at the end of my workout. The sleeve slips right off without pulling my hair, but the day it starts (especially when I'm in the middle of a run) I'm considering a replacement or other options.
