Light wrote in the merits and demerits intentionally. At first it was a virtue, then I bought a heavy flash and a lens, and now the lightness plays a minus for me, since my hand literally goes to a break. For example, I twisted 7D, it’s a completely different matter, it is heavier, but in the hands it’s just poured. I use with a 24-105L lens and EX600 flash. In my opinion, the best choice for a beginner: not particularly expensive, but more or less a serious device. And at the same time, without any extra troubles, which even avid pros rarely use. In general, it suits completely, only FF is better, and even then not everyone.
