Will not work on 2006 Nissan Murano

Installs fairly easily on my 2006 Nissan Murano SL. Unfortunately my engine went crazy after that. It revs up to 2000 rpm and then revs to idle several times for a few seconds before depressurizing the exhaust pipe and dying. After that, my whole garage smelled of gasoline. The upside is that nothing exploded and I survived to tell about it. I bought a normal sensor from Nissan (80 seeds), installed it, everything worked (the engine now works perfectly!). I think it could be the camshaft sensor or just a piece of junk. In any case, when it comes to engine sensors, I would recommend skipping the cheaper parts and paying for the ones that work. I've definitely learned my lesson from it.
