Capezio Youth Tyette Shoe Patent 10 Girls' Shoes for Athletic Review

They definitely run small, just like the Jazz Capezio shoes. I didn't pay attention to the brand when ordering, but I always order Capezio jazz shoes a size and a half larger for my two girls. For these taps I ordered my 6 year old girl's regular 10.5 in street shoes and now I have to order because although she can put her foot in them they are too tight and hurt her toes. Order in advance!

Very disappointed. The quality of their faucets is excellent, but they are SUPER SMALL and VERY narrow. My daughter wears a size 9 street shoe and I ordered a size 10 for a small child. Thanks to other reviewers I ordered a size larger than my granddaughter's true size and WIDE. Also, the wide width is quite narrow, so if your kid has wide feet, they may not fit you. My 4 year old fits a size 7.5 and doesn't have wide feet. I ordered them a size 8 and they were too small and tight. I had to go back and change the order for 9 pieces. I am a very experienced adult tap dancer. Size aside, these are great tap shoes at a reasonable price. Comes with elastic, tape and runners already on the shoe, so you don't have to replace the band with elastic and add runners for safety. Highly recommend just increase the size.

Terrible quality! On the 1st day they started to detach. 3 months and I have to change shoes because they are embarrassing now! Completely peeled off at the front! Now it's black and tan dance shoes! Save money and choose the best quality!

Some reviews mentioned it was tight but I didn't think so. We ordered a normal size and with tights rather than socks they were a bit loose. The tie comes out and there is an elastic element so they can be easily put on and taken off when your child can't tie by themselves, which is a big bonus for little kids.

The measurements are so wrong it's just ridiculous! I checked out the reviews and enlarged them to full size but they are still too small and tight for my little one. I think I should have gone two sizes up and gone for the wide option. Instead, I went back and went to an actual dance shop that had shoes that were the right size. Don't waste money on them.

I ordered these for my 4 year old daughter for her dance class. She wears a size 10 toddler shoes and that is the size the shoes are advertised in but unfortunately they are very tight and difficult to put on.

My daughter wears size 8 outdoor shoes and according to the size chart she should wear a size 7 hat. I ordered 8 and it was incredibly small for her. I don't even know what size to try next. My daughter complains that the sock is too uncomfortable. I would recommend a large width for younger children (she is 4.5). So now we have to order another brand to try and find more comfortable shoes.

The first pair I ordered arrived used and tossed in a random brown box. The second pair arrived brand new in a Capezio shoe box and fit perfectly. For the record, my daughter now wears a size 10 in all her shoes and I went for a 10.5 which was perfect, but a size 11 would also fit so they last a bit longer.

My daughter is growing to a size 5 so I started with a size 5.5. They were too small and tight and she refused to wear them. I exchanged them for a size 6. These 2 shoes were the same size! And neither one nor the other fits.

This review is not related to the product itself. Seems to be good. However, what was sent to me was not original. The box was torn, the tissue paper wrinkled, the faucets scratched. If I paid the used price I would understand and it wouldn't be a problem. But if I paid for new shoes. I am assuming they are new and unused.

My 5 year old granddaughter has wide feet. As she put the shoes on, she exclaimed that they didn't hurt my feet. She is very happy and we have not heard any complaints from her after the dance class.
