Good. So far the sensor has been working properly

My car now starts quickly. Good. As long as the sensor works properly. Let's see how long it lasts. And I will update a new review when that happens. (1 week installation) So far so good

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • So far so good

Cheap but works best in crankshaft position

My 2003 Infiniti i35 was having starting problems. I suspected that my crankshaft sensors and/or camshaft sensors had failed. There are 3 sensors in total. The sensors are easy to replace (1 screw) and inexpensive through Revain. I replaced all three and now my machine is running smoothly.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not sure

Did a 350z cutoff in the middle of the freeway.

let me and my 350z down, don't buy this. Worked for 2-3 weeks and stopped. This is an important sensor that can fail even while driving because my car got stuck in the middle of the highway. I had to tow the car, it was very dangerous, the mechanic exchanged this sensor for a more expensive, better quality one and the car stopped stalling and starting.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • some flaws

Didn't work.: Sensors

Needed to replace a camshaft sensor on my Baby 03 Murano. So, just in case, I replaced another camshaft sensor and decided that the crankshaft sensor should also be replaced. I found a Delphi camshaft sensor (good brand) but no crankshaft. This Dorman sensor immediately went into limp mode (RPM did not exceed 1800 RPM) and issued a crankshaft sensor code. Remove the crankshaft sensor, put the old one in and everything works again.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Minus present

Will not work on 2006 Nissan Murano

Installs fairly easily on my 2006 Nissan Murano SL. Unfortunately my engine went crazy after that. It revs up to 2000 rpm and then revs to idle several times for a few seconds before depressurizing the exhaust pipe and dying. After that, my whole garage smelled of gasoline. The upside is that nothing exploded and I survived to tell about it. I bought a normal sensor from Nissan (80 seeds), installed it, everything worked (the engine now works perfectly!). I think it could be the camshaft sensor

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
