However, the one they sent me has a black, plastic-looking, knurled handle; When I disassembled the shank from the blade to check the sliding surface of the shank, I noticed along with the cord that the nut was metal. This feature is as illusory as the picture itself. However, to prevent the shank from rocking around the blade, the nut must be tightened.
