Good tool with inch and metric scales

Good tool with inch and metric scales. However, it is not like the picture. The adjustment knob is not brass and the level is fully open. I am waiting for the level to be blown up in the toolbox. Also the markings are color coded on the picture but not on the instrument I received.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Drill package

Not bad for the price

This is an accurate small combined square image. My only issue with this is that the thumbscrew that tightens the rule has to really be screwed in to hold tight. Even so, it sometimes loosens on its own, so you'll need to make sure it's tight every time you pick it up. For a quarter of Starrett's price, that's not bad.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

The square was "square " the entire 6 inch length, but

This square was accurate and square in length, but difficult to read (glossy) and the ruler jigged in the head, even when it was locked. were accurate in inches and millimeters compared to the reference rules. Not that good compared to the two 6 inch squares I have. I bought it for the mm scale on the square.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Nice to have you with you

Glad for the timely arrival of this small, handy, strong and durable looking 6"/Met square combo square; The packaging was perfect, I mention this because this is a very important issue for Revain's customers who live in this stretch of sea. The edges of the blade are roughly cut off. The butt and blade do not have a tight fit. Therefore, when checking the squareness of the blade, the lines did not match. This is shown in the lines above even though the material is flush with the machine cut…

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • Some bugs

Some Pretty Big Problems

Problems: 1. The major bearing surfaces of Johnson's combined squares (both large and small) are slightly concave/concave. This makes the angle unreliable unless you use it on perfectly straight, smooth and hard/hard edges and keep the full reference area of the combination angle on that perfectly machined shank. Tools and time.2. The slider is not fixed in the metric. The groove in the bolt is about 4-6 thousandths closer to the metric edge of the bolt. And Johnson uses the same pinch bolt for

Pros
  • Very Impressive

  • Boring Packaging
