Review on Weiman Complete Cook Top Cleaning Kit: Premium Cook Top Cleaner and Polish with Scrubbing Pad, Cleaning Tool, and Cook Top Razor Scraper by Leo Puente

I was REALLY impressed with this kit. When I moved into my house, the kitchen was "professionally cleaned." There was a black residue on the flat glass cooktop (mostly around the rings of the burner) that didn't move after vigorous cleaning (even with the Magic Eraser pads). Between my own attempts and previous professional work, I just realized it was permanent fire damage. I stumbled across this starter kit and thought I'd give it a try to advance the surface. To my great surprise, I discovered that beneath that ugly dirt was a pristine glass hob! Now it really looks BRAND NEW like it has never been used. Please note that I didn't remove all the dirt at once. It took 3 sessions of 10-15 each. (This stuff has probably been around for years.) I've found that for this type of deep cleansing, the best way to do it is to scrub it down (wet it first) with an exfoliating cream and red pad and leave it on for a few minutes and then go back and use the scraper blade on the stubborn dirt. By the way: The scraper blade did NOT scratch the surface of my hob. I don't know how that's possible considering how many times I've used it, I'm just reporting the truth. I should also add that I'm not particularly gifted at cleaning. For example: I'm not the friend you call to help you clean your oven. My own work usually pales in comparison to that of a professional cleaning service. The fact that I have had such great results with this product says a lot about the effectiveness of the product. Now I use this product about once a week. I usually only need to remove the scraper blade if something spills and burns the surface. Oh yeah, I also love Weiman Stainless Steel Cleaner/Polish and the Daily Granite Cleaner. Between 3 I can make my kitchen really nice in a short time.
