Review on Topeak Joe Blow Sport III: Ultimate High Pressure Floor Pump for Efficient Inflation by Reed Nuttbrock

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Before the time.

When I used to go to the office regularly, we had a very good bike repair shop in the parking lot. I would only use one pump to inflate the tires. Because it was under one roof in a secure employee car park and regularly maintained, unlike many public pumps, it was always in excellent condition. When I ran out of tires while teleworking, I had to find a way to inflate the tires with air. I admit I'm not the most skilled person when it comes to bike work. The shops around me are almost certainly laughing at the little things I bring on my bike and pay them for. But I can pump up a tire, right? So on my first attempt to get some air during my remote work days, I drove to 5 different public pumps, found them all inoperable to some degree (from out of order to vandalism) and finally went to REI where I got it If they couldn't get a pump, they tied me to my Schrader stock. In the end they did it for me. I came home ashamed and bought this pump. I had no problem connecting it securely to my stem and pumping up my tires, no problem at all! If you're reading other reviews, if you're a "new" type of stem or have a lot of experience with basic bike maintenance and are looking for something that gives you special features, this might be what you're missing. If you're the type who just needs a bike to "ride" so you can go about your daily business, this seems to work great!
