The bearings in the originals were bad and made a loud hum when turning so they are being replaced. I will update over time but initially it works fine. I looked at the original fans that came with the MacBook and it looks like they are from the same manufacturer, Delta Electronics. They fit and look just like the OEM ones and are just as quiet as the originals when the laptop was new as far as I can tell with mine to my ears. Calm.
