    4 out of 5 stars due. Read

    I give 4 out of 5 stars for 2 reasons. First, the wiring was in the wrong position and upside down. I had to re-tap and flip the wires to get the power connector in the right position. Second, the left fan makes a slight hum/noise when spinning above 5200 RPM. They work great. My original fans in my 2012 MBP needed to be replaced and apart from the above this was a good decision. Complaints.

    Maglev train camp! - Computer Components

    This is the third time I have had to replace the left fan in my 2011 17" MacBook Pro, the first time for the right fan. These fans are great compared to original and previous replacements quiet.As other replacement parts have been the result of squeaky bearings I have high hopes for these Padarsey maglev suspended units.But for the price if I get a few years of them it will be a good investment.because of their reasonable cost .Use both fans if you opened your case and exposed both.     Works great on an early 2015 Macbook Pro.

    . The fan came properly packaged in a box so it was protected from falls and compression during transit. The installation process was a little tricky but it works great and my early 2015 Retina Macbook Pro is working again.

    The bearings in the originals were bad and made a loud hum when turning

    The bearings in the originals were bad and made a loud hum when turning so they are being replaced. I will update over time but initially it works fine. I looked at the original fans that came with the MacBook and it looks like they are from the same manufacturer, Delta Electronics. They fit and look just like the OEM ones and are just as quiet as the originals when the laptop was new as far as I can tell with mine to my ears. Calm.

    Perfect fan replacement

    My 2014 MacBook Pro would occasionally make a rattling noise and overheat. I replaced the top left fan with this Padarsey replacement and my MacBook Pro now runs cool.     Does what it says on the tin

    Perfect fan replacement for my mid 2010 13" MacBook Pro. Sounds and works exactly like the fan that came from the factory. The length of the cable is more than adequate, keep in mind that the Despite the appearance of the connector on the motherboard, the cable is disconnected by pulling it straight up and not by pushing the cable to the side, as the latter displaces the whole connector. , not easy to fix.

    [EDIT] Not so quiet.

    EDIT: So, as mentioned in my previous review, I thought the noise from one of the fans was user error. BUT after using my MacBook, as I usually do for a few days after installing a fan, there is a faint but definitely audible rattling noise coming from the new fan.
