I bought these for braces because I was designing something called a trigger thumb. I like this orthosis during the day. I was hoping to wear them at night. And I use my hands. However, if you get your hands wet while doing housework, the straps will get wet and very uncomfortable to wear. It's good to wear when you're typing or using a pen to do things that would normally hurt. I was hoping to wear it at night as it is vital to me. To keep my thumb from bending it doesn't work I've tried using it at night and unfortunately you can't control what your hands are doing at night and I've obviously been rubbing the back of my hand where the straps are and my eye quite a bit scratched bad The suspenders on her are very cheap and scratchy. The straps are regular Velcro that you can buy at a sewing and craft store. be used. It would be better if they used soft neoprene or something similarly soft and comfortable to wear for many hours. I don't see them lasting very long and the way they are built doesn't have much structure, they hold belts for replacing them anyway, if the belts go your brace goes
