It worked. Pretty easy to install as a replacement.

The switch on our old alarm was a plunger and stopped working. I used it as a replacement and it works great. Basically a ball bearing in the switch that makes contact when the float goes horizontal. Make sure you leave enough headroom for this. Ease of installation. I cut the wire and screwed it into the existing wire coming from the house. The alarm is so loud I can hear it from outside.
