OEM is best in this case.
I bought a Honda Element with 170,000 miles on it and it looks like the air filter was never changed. I decided to purchase this original filter after hearing about aftermarket length issues. Yes it is more expensive but 100% worth the price to ensure my engine gets clean air. I'm not suggesting anyone skimp on this part.
