Looks strong but not really as good as it looks. The steel guide rod runs through the die-cast aluminum top block with no bearings or bushing, so aluminum dust constantly builds up on the juicer. The height of the top block and bottom fruit support is adjusted with set screws, tightening enough to hold the pieces in place without removing the screw heads. It's hard to find enough force to start chopping citrus when the fruit is in the center, so I lay it on its side at an angle. I probably wouldn't buy it again. However, I've been using it for a couple of years now and it gives my citrus juice a go, so I didn't bother spending a lot more for a better one. I only use it for oranges and grapefruit as limes and lemons are easier to use in a manual juicer. Oh, and don't leave the handle up, it will eventually fall off and break something.
