Doesn't install well

I recently used this kit to install an aftermarket radio on a 2014 F150 XL. Here's the scoop: FOR: 1. Cheap2. Plastic is fairly easy to cut with a sharp office knife (see CONS). Minuses: 1. The complete set with a control panel is not very good. In particular, the emergency light on the top of the panel is not suitable. I had to cut the plastic with a utility knife and build up an edge with tape to get the right fit. Otherwise, the hazard button will get stuck after pressing.2. The fit on top where the plastic/rubber mat is wasn't very good. The carpet had to be redone to fit the new room.3. F150 OEM radio wiring harness adapter was incorrect. The ignition wire (red) was in the wrong position. It took a lot of extra work to assemble it separately. I wasn't happy with that. Tips: 1. When you purchase this product there are instructions on how to remove certain tabs that secure your radio to the dashboard. At first I tried pliers, but I was afraid of cracking the entire panel. Instead, use your thumb to press down (see photo). Use a flathead screwdriver for the double tongue first, then your thumb for the second (see photo).2. Have a sharp new universal blade in your knife, as you'll likely need to make some subtle changes. There are also some parts where the plastic leaking from the mold will prevent the part from entering properly until you clean the edges. Overall: I'm cheap so I could, but that's about it. But a tourniquet with a hairpin in the wrong socket badly spoiled the case. For that reason alone I would buy a different product.

Cons
