I have a lot of these. They replaced several bags with various soft items. (e.g. seasonal clothing, yarn, fabric) Bags take up less than a quarter of the space. And I like the little pumps that come with them because I don't have to increase the vacuum every time I fill a bag. You have to make sure you seal them tightly. It usually took me a few days to realize they weren't sealed well enough. Again, it only took the pump a few minutes to fix the problem once the gasket was in place.
