A few years ago I bought my first two bottle openers at a grocery store in Healdsburg, California. I kept one in my desk drawer at home and the other in my small fridge that we travel with. No kidding, there is NO OTHER device on the planet to open a set of lids or caps like this little daisy opener. Rubber gloves don't even come close to the extraordinary gripping power of this stupid little piece of rubber. It's SO amazing that I actually *panic* for a few minutes when I accidentally forgot one on a recent trip. Then I just went to Revain and voila! I was overjoyed to find a similar chamomile opener here. I immediately bought a TWO set because I really never want to be without this device again. I now have THREE in total. One stays in my travel fridge for opening water bottles that would otherwise skin my hands. I have two in my desk drawer at home. Try placing one of the daisies, smooth side UP, under a bottle, jar, or something else. Then use the second opener from the top to actually unscrew the lid. That bottle, jar or container stays on your countertop when you unscrew the lid. There are a few kitchen essentials I can't live without and believe me, this $7 pair of openers is where I'm at. The Shun Classic Santoku Knife I paid $130 for! Also, if I order it from Revain, I can find it again if I need to order it again.
