I love my ceramic pens. All of them. They gave my cabinets that extra something and my kitchen the ambiance I was looking for. They weren't difficult to install. I read through the reviews and gave some thought to the installation. Yes the screws are longer than the width of my closet door and I didn't want the screws to be shorter so I went to Ace Hardware and bought ACORN NUTS to cover the ends of the screws to keep them from snagging on my skin or clothing . I believe they cost $0.40 each. I took 2 pictures for people to visualize and maybe make them themselves. You saved me a few steps and a lot of time and frustration. They work great. No crashes in daily use. Also, when I inserted the pins into the body and aligned the ceramic handle with the small silver decorative cap, I was careful not to distort the shape of the caps: be patient! None of the lids caught on my clothes or scratched the skin on the lower cabinets. Of course, all my caps arrived in perfect condition. So I have no problems with handles! I just enjoy them every day and really appreciate the atmosphere they create in my kitchen. Daily! So order yourself and don't worry about trifles. Just work on it.
