These are medium weight gardening gloves to help when you have sharp plants such as brambles. a man with very large arms, but they were too small for him. For another man they were fine. My hands take large women's gloves and they fit well. The knitted back had enough room for my wedding ring - the lighter gloves had ripped over time where the ring was protruding. For easy getting in and digging I prefer the thinner silicone gloves but they don't fit as well and are suitable for heavier work.
