My 1 year old was obsessed with the microwave and would sometimes refuse to eat if it wasn't working. This prompted me to search for a "realistic" toy version. When I opened the box I was only satisfied with the looks. There aren't many buttons (which makes it very easy to continue working on your own) and it looks realistic, unlike the obvious toy. We used it straight away and it was a real hit. He loves pressing the start button and watching it work! There is a pivot plate inside that falls off so I'll take a glue gun to it and I'm sure that will solve this problem. Otherwise it's perfect! Movement, light and noise! If your kid loves microwaves, then this is what you need!
