Honestly the best I've found, no habit/handwork and triple the price. I had this thing in hard everyday wear for THREE YEARS because my 70kg boy is not a gentle creature. He loves running, swimming and mud. Now of course I go with a Y-shaped chest strap these days so the collar doesn't get as much direct pressure as it used to, but still. It's beautiful, strong and oh so soft. When I first got it I was really skeptical - it was pretty enough and I expected it to be useless and break quickly. But no! The thing is hard. It's been through more disgusting river water than I care to think and I've casually machine washed it and it survived, not a color bleed or anything. It's only after three years of daily bullying that *a* heart fell off somewhere in the woods and I'm sure I could stick some decorative stuff in there and keep going if I wanted to. They say it looks new because it doesn't. But that's for hard skin, right? It looks old and broken and BETTER. The red has darkened and this thing looks as gross as a heart collar can get. I love it. My dog probably just hates it because he doesn't like any kind of restraint but the inside of the collar is carefully padded and it never hurts or irritates his skin and he has never shied away from this collar like everyone else. like when he *wears* a collar. he doesn't mind being like that. :) I will literally buy the exact same product in black. i am so satisfied
