I mounted the sensor on a lamp post about 90 feet from my house and it easily gets a signal through three walls to a receiver plugged in behind the counter. To prevent the sensor from detecting cars on the street, I aimed the detection field at my house. The sensor is so good it picked up cars in my neighbor's driveway until I adjusted it down and away from his driveway. I have cameras but I don't want to have notifications on my phone all the time so I find this driveway alarm very useful. I like the range, stability and features of this alarm clock. I would prefer the receiver to have two volume buttons, one to increase and one to decrease. It only has one, so turning down the volume requires switching between all the different volume levels - it's a hassle when I want to turn down the volume while my wife is sleeping. It can also be put into sleep mode, keeping the green alarm indicator as the notification method. Overall, this is a well-crafted warning that does its job well.
