It works, but the latches that interact with the balls on the screwdriver or the 3/8 extensions are either too small or not positioned correctly. I've tried the socket on several brands of drivers and extension cords and it broke before the spark plug was removed from the socket. It's a bad thing to install plugs deep in the engine bay. To cover my ass, I taped the plug to the end of the 3/8 extension for security. This worked fine, and given the low usage of this socket, I can live with this workaround. Check yours before using them.
