Review on 🐦 VIVOHOME 30" Wrought Iron Bird Cage with Rolling Stand - Ideal for Parrots, Conure, Lovebird, and Cockatiel by Kimberly Evans

This cage is the perfect rest home for my Jardine parrot. I assembled it in 15 minutes. Perches on dowels are awful, not ergonomic for a parrot's paws. Feeders are a joke. Cheap plastic and feeder doors in a terrible location. What self-respecting bird eats at the bottom of the cage. However, having seen the cage before ordering, I purchased pre-made natural wood shells and perches and a rope pole. It's sturdy enough for my parrot and once I set it up she flew to him and he seemed to like him a lot. This cage would actually be perfect if they raised the legs about a foot and a half. But we put her cage on a table with wheels under the wheels. I made a game board for this cage that sits on top. She is used to this as she spends most of her time in her current cage and so far she is enjoying it. I can make this her permanent cage as she is an older parrot and may need to get smaller to keep from falling. I have seen many complaints that the size is too small. All I can say is that it's a pity you didn't pay attention to the size and dimensions. This is a 30 inch cage that includes a base with wheels. They have photographed the macaw in several photos but if anyone thinks a large macaw will fit in a 30 inch cage they are wrong which leads me to believe they haven't bothered to look at the product specs to watch. Showed a real photo of 2 parrots in this cage. That says a lot about what will be comfortable in that cage. Overall I am satisfied with this cage. This is not intended by the manufacturer. I don't think they did their poultry homework. But we get what we pay for when we make an informed choice. With a few tweaks it's good enough and my little girl loves it. I know she won't worry about it when we go on vacation in a few weeks. It is suitable for a pair of small parrots or a medium-sized parrot. Definitely suitable for any large, blunt-tailed bird with physical limitations.
