These shoes replaced a pair of 15 year old Rockport CXS lightweight work shoes. Here are my quick opinions after a few weeks of wear:Pros:Keen quality is very good, however there continues to be a mild chemical smell from the rubber soles. Hopefully that will eventually dissipate. The tread pattern provides very good traction while minimizing the potential to hold dirt or small stones in the tread.Cons:You have to be a little careful with the fit. I like a larger toe box, which these have. However, I find they run about a half size short. I generally wear a 10.5 shoe and a 11 sneaker. I originally ordered these in 10.5, but they were definitely too short. When I exchanged them for the 11s, (the exchange process was very easy) the length was just right but I now find the shoe volume around the instep a little large. They are comfortable enough but I'd prefer something a bit more secure around my foot. So, I'm pretty happy with these and hopefully they'll hold up like the Rockports did. If you tend to require a larger shoe size for sneakers, use that measurement for ordering these. Also, unless you have relative "bulky" feet, plan on using thicker socks to keep these shoes from feeling loose. Hope this helps.
