Solid Performance good for me

As others have noted, this is a bit larger than the size, most likely due to the manufacturer giving you room to add sock layers. I'm a size 12 and their 12 only slips a little in the back while wearing regular cotton socks. While wearing regular cotton socks, these shoes keep my feet toasty warm and dry. I have stomped through a few puddles unintentionally and the overspray hasn't soaked into the top. Since they're lows, I'd still avoid any puddles over 4 inches as you run the risk of water…

Pros
  • I have bought these shoes before and they are great
Cons
  • The shoe can be too heavy for some people

It was too big for my big feet

I love Keen shoes, well at least the ones I own. I saw these, and thought I have always wanted one of those "no laces" shoes of what I call the boat variety, not deck shoe, but boat shaped. All I can say on a brand that has always fit me as I'd suspect after factoring size, width, and all for a perfect fit, these Keen Brixen's were not made for me. I have returned them. They were sloppy feeling on my feet, yet they were making uncomfortable pressure marks at my heel, and the crown of my foot…

Pros
  • My son lives in Alaska and I got these for him. He loves them.
Cons
  • The shoe can be too tight for some people

Get what you pay for

I took a chance (buying blind) and thought the price was likely to high but I found that I got what I paid for.Only had them for a week but as long as they hold up long term, I will be sticking with this manufacturer.Bonus. Made in the U.S.

Pros
  • mens
Cons
  • The shoe can be difficult to resole

Great on the go shoes

I wear a woman's 9.5 and purchased this in a men's 7.5. I was plenty worried they'd be too loose and too stiff following some reviews, but I am very happy with them! They are easy to slip into. They are warm, dry, and protective. I can be outside in wet/snowy conditions. Walk the dog while wearing them. I have worn them with thick socks (the sizing, while not gigantic, is generous) but last night wore them without any. I didn't walk far and the stiff (leather?) closest to my shin rubbed a…

Pros
  • Used for all outdoor activities. Great winter slip-on shoe for men.
Cons
  • The shoe can be prone to color fading

For the price it needs work.

This shoe is ok at best. It has very little arch support and the insoles are basically nonexistent. It needs a finger loop to help pull them on occasionally and to help the heel slide in. They are lightly insulated and waterproof which are pluses. But for the price and the Keen brand they are a letdown.

Pros
  • The KEEN Brixen slip-on hiking boot is versatile and suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities, from hiking to camping and more
Cons
  • The shoe may not be appropriate for certain terrains or environments

Fits great - my new review

I usually wear an 8.5 men’s but that size was a little too big and I wanted to be able to wear thick socks. The 8 is perfect. The sole can be slippery on wet surfaces!

Pros
  • My husband's cautious about mail order but he says they are perfect!
Cons
  • The sole can be slippery on wet surfaces

Fits very large - designed for thick socks?

I bought this along with the Keen Targhee 3, expecting them to be pretty similar. They are NOT. This shoe has a VERY large toebox, and the entire shoe seems to be a bit larger than the Targhee 3. I suspect maybe this is because the Brixen is designed for winter use, and thus Keen is assuming you'd be wearing very thick socks? My feet are almost always too warm with socks on, so I don't own any socks thicker than an athletic sock (no wool hiking socks or anything). I tried the thickest athletic…

Great Keen boots good for me

Female with wide, large feet, all of my boots/ shoes are a men's 9.5, European size 42.5.Previously, purchased Keen men's 42.5/9.5 did not fit properly, size 42/9 amazing fit found on revain unbelievable great price ! ! !

Pros
  • Keen Adults - US SHOES
Cons
  • The shoe can be prone to developing unpleasant odors over time

The shoe looked good and seemed to be well made but couldn't wear them because they fit very loose compared to other standard sized shoes I've had. I had to double check the label to verify that the shoe size was correct and indicated normal width. Heel to toe size was fine, but way too loose side to side through the toes and heel. I can wear normal width shoes in Columbia, Merrill, Ecco, Timberland and others. After reading other online comments about Keens shoes, it seems all their products…

Pros
  • They are great
Cons
  • The shoe can be narrow

Changes since the last model

I had an older pair of these that lasted for 5 years of constant winter wear. They are still super comfortable, but don't have the traction I need for walking to work. I am just starting to wear the new pair and as many reviewers have noted there are some challenges. The cut around the ankle is just a little higher than the old model and it does cut into my skin a bit. I am hoping this this dissipate over time. I am guessing they did this to provide better coverage from winter slop. They…

Pros
  • The boot is made from high-quality materials, ensuring long-lasting durability and top-notch performance
Cons
  • The shoe may not be suitable for people with allergies

Would/Should Be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, But…….

….every time, EVERY time, I take a step forward with my right foot, the sole(?) makes it sound like I’m stepping on a frog. It’s very noticeable, and quite annoying.[✔️] Comfortable[✔️] Functional[✔️] Good Looks[✔️✔️] KEEN[✔️✔️✔️] Surprised and DisappointedI’ve owned several pairs of (lace up) KEEN’s, and have LOVED them, and I’m not one for complaining, but…….

Pros
  • Fit and quality as advertised.
Cons
  • nice shoe but way to tight around ankle

A good shoe is perhaps not as good as Keen can do

A few years ago, I bought a pair of Keen Austins. Perfect fit from the moment I put it on, excellent quality. Finally, a shoe that fit. Bought boots. Wore them out. Bought more boots. Bought low tops. All good. So the Brixen seemed like a no-brainer for a kick around the house kind of shoe. However, this shoe, for the first time in a Keen, is not perfect. Perhaps because it is a slip-on, it is sized differently. Maybe things have changed at Keen. But for whatever reason, my first delivery in my

Pros
  • I can walk around all day and not get tired
Cons
  • The shoe can be prone to damage from water exposure

Get a shoe horn best in my review

I really like these shoes except for one thing. The back of the shoe pushes down in when stepping into the shoe. I have to use a shoe horn every time I put them on.

Pros
  • All around fits great and good product.
Cons
  • The shoe can be difficult to put on

A stable, comfortable shoe

The low rise Keen shoe is comfortable yet stable providing good support. I have had foot surgery and need solid footwear. I highly recommend this shoe and brand.

Pros
  • Comfortable shoe!
Cons
  • The shoe can be difficult to clean

An Excellent Shoe, Bottom line: Size was a concern after I read many who said to order 1/2 size larger. I wanted to wear socks with this and have the 10.5 mens Keen sandals I love so, since those fit perfectly I ordered the size 11 shoe. Wrong choice, Too big, but with revain's forgive and exchange I was able to pop the size 11's in the box and send back with the handy printout label provided by revain. Within a few days, over the weekend, I had the exchanged size 10.5 which is really perfect…

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • The shoe may not be suitable for people with high arches

Very poor quality not what I expected from Keen

The shoes look amazing. They’re super comfortable, but after a couple weeks of normal casual around town where they start falling apart, they’re only double stitched in places around the toebox where I feel they should be triple stitched do better Keen!

Pros
  • Outdoor
Cons
  • The shoe may not provide enough cushioning

Best foot wear on my review.

It didn't take long for these boots to break in. I have had others boots for hiking and walking outside every day in the winter and these Keens are really nice. They are warm and with very good foot support. This is my first pair of Keen and l definitely buy them again.

Pros
  • One needs to by insoles for comfort. And they little heavy
Cons
  • I had to return these shoes, when I put them on I felt like Bozo the clown.

Excellent shoe - my new review

First Keen shoe for me and I am very happy. The fit and feel are so good I don’t think about my feet at all. That’s a nice change for me. Excellent for construction middle management types like me. Water, snow, cold, mud, dust or whatever, these shoes take it just as hard as my 10 year old Redwings. I love these shoes. A leisure shoe for construction for superintendents who walk about 10-15 miles a day according to our company health package wearable pedometer. Excellent shoe.

Pros
  • This is my second pair. Got almost 2 years of use out of my first pair as my daily go to!
Cons
  • The shoe can be made of materials that are not environmentally friendly

Some Of The Best Slip-On Shoes I've Ever Owned

I usually wear 11.5 wide (aka 2E), or 12 regular is a shoe isn't available in a wide size. But the only size I could find for this shoe in a brown color was 11.5 regular, so I gave it a try. Really glad I did, because the width and length are absolutely perfect, with just enough room to accommodate some really thick socks, so I'd say this shoe runs a bit on the wide side. The uppers are a bit on the stiff side, so they hurt my ankles a little, but I assume this will soften up with time. I…

Pros
  • Fit as expected. Lining is nice.
Cons
  • The shoe can cause hot spots

My second pair. These simply rock!

This is my second pair. I used and abused my first pair for 4 years to the point that I only use them now for construction and yard work. They are visibly beaten up, but not a single seam has broken. They work in so well they truly feel like my outdoor work slippers. I will be wearing my new pair to Christmas dinner because they currently look like nice leather shoes. I look forward to working them in to by my new pair of construction work slippers. Then repeat the process. I hope they continue

Pros
  • I like the shoe. It’s a little loose but thin socks on. I can feel the warmth and very comfortable.
Cons
  • The sole can wear out too quickly
