This chair fits me but the comfort of the chairs may depend on your height and build (I'm 5ft 6in, 120lbs, long torso, so lumbar support just right for me). A tall or tall person may not be as comfortable. Highlights: [+] This is a pillar chair, not an armchair. The seat is hard, and since the fabric is mesh with small holes that are difficult to clean, this chair is not for sluts. If you're dining in a chair and tossing in sandwich pieces as you type, then this chair isn't for you. If you're looking for a chair that you can nap in like you're sinking into a sofa, then this isn't the chair for you. In fact, most ergonomic chairs probably aren't. [+] The seat adjuster doesn't do much, so if the most important thing for you in a chair is the ability to recline or lean forward, then this isn't a chair. For her. [+] Alternatively, if you're like me and find that most chairs don't support the line of your back leaving a gap between you and the back, this is a good chair. The mesh back supports your back without being stiff. Once you calibrate the lumbar support it's really comfortable. But again, the lumbar support pushes up and down, not back and forth. If you're looking for a chair that pushes you to the side, then this isn't it. [+] There are many chairs with this design available from different suppliers. You take all the risks. I'm happy with this: the armrests go up and down, the lumbar support goes up and down, the chair seat has a tension knob, the headrest goes up and down. Can it be tuned to Herman Miller level? No, but it's also 1/5 the price. You really do get what you pay for and at a price that adjusts to your buck. [+] The design is good enough. I can understand how a handful of people can end up with parts that don't quite fit together no matter how hard you turn the Allen wrench. If you're mentally prepared and ready to send the chair in for an exchange, then don't worry about negative reviews about quality. Not every chair that comes off the factory line is a winner, and this is a factory chair at a mass-produced price. [+] The chair comes with a pair of gloves. Put them on and wear them while assembling the chair. You'll be surprised by the grease on the gloves when you're done. [+] The chair was very easy to assemble and could be handled by one person. Engineering doesn't matter, but patience (and lack of temperament) does. Read the instructions, prepare the screws in advance so you don't try to install the washer while holding the seat in the air. Tighten each screw just enough to hold, but do not tighten until fully seated. Make sure that the metal parts are firmly attached to the saddle when you tighten them with the Allen key, especially the armrests. After installing a metal seat adjuster, the seat will be quite heavy and bulky, so make sure the armrests are aligned first.
