I was very pleased with this, it meets all my humidifier needs. Has good vapor, has an aromatherapy drawer, holds a decent amount of water, has "good reviews". A major issue is that the reservoir is open at the bottom where it connects to the base mechanism and doesn't have a secure attachment to the base so it comes off very easily and allows gallons of water to flow freely onto your floors, it's so loose bracket that you can whisper to him and he will detach and splatter water everywhere! I requested a refund and the company sent me another one. I don't know when a return meant a replacement, but ok. I was hoping mine was just defective, but no, that's a design flaw. Please only buy this if you are willing to attach the tank to the base, or after filling it with water you will not touch it until the water has drained, or if you need motivation to mop your floors with every touch .
