Unbeatable air pump for the money. It is very powerful and goes deeper than some of the "cheaper" pumps on the market. I have 5 older smaller pumps that have been discontinued since purchasing this beast. There are two places to connect the hose. I then separated each one and it ran four air "devices" in my 125 gallon tank with goldfish only. This is actually the second one I've bought. The first lasted about two years, when one of the parties decided to vent less. By calling Tetra I was able to buy a kit to replace the worn out internal parts, but when I bought the parts and paid for shipping it was half the price of a new one. I just keep the old one for parts when I need it. For a high-performance air pump, it's damn quiet. My aquarium is in my main living room (where the family hangs out and watches TV) and it's not at all distracting. I mounted it on a special shelf on the wall, and it sits on a folded towel to absorb vibration. Highly recommended if you want HIGH airflow on multiple ducts!
