Looks very cute, feels soft, not very heavy/thick but still warm and fluffy. However, it does have a very strong plastic/chemical smell, so I recommend pre-washing it before gifting, especially if it's for a child. This would be a great blanket for my farm and my tractor obsessed five year old crib. . I have a litter size that looks like it would have plenty of extra room on its crib, but not very large. The picture is beautiful, beautiful and clear. It's super soft and the "Sherpa" style fluffy side is soft and fluffy - definitely not true Sherpa but perfect for a budget comforter. Let it air/fluff, pre-wash whatever you need before gifting it!
