This backpack was intended for Halloween costumes, not for permanent use, so I can't say much about how strong and durable it is. the quality is not as good as with jansport, but justified by the low price. The quality is acceptable for the price and by no means super cheap. This is the type of backpack I wouldn't use as my main backpack and it doesn't have many pockets. However, I think I would benefit from using it as a backpack, which I don't care too much about in terms of dirt or wear and tear. I've recently used it to carry some things with me and sat at the beach so I think I'll use it for outdoors. I also have a Kanken for reference so obviously there is a difference in quality but there is also a difference in purpose for me. While this backpack is somewhat water resistant, water does get in. After all, the color is nice and it did what I needed it to do. That's why I'm giving it 5 stars for these reasons.
