Three toes are better than one

My pinky toes curl inwards, and blister if I spend a long time on the treadmill. These spreaders help A LOT. I tried some of the "single toe" spreaders - those shift and twist inside my socks and running shoes, and make the problem even worse, causing blisters and tearing skin.Properly used, these three toe spreaders remain straight and are very comfortable. Ten miles yesterday! The best way to put the toe spreaders on (takes less than two minutes):1) Slide the spreaders onto your bare toes a little bit at a time, toe by toe, then smooth them out.2) Roll up your socks INSIDE OUT so that only a couple of inches of toe are inside-in outside out.3) Use your fingers to guide the open sock over your toes WITHOUT TOUCHING THE SPREADER, so that it remains in place, undisturbed.4) When you release the sock, it should gently hold the undisturbed spreader in place without shifting it.5) Probe with your fingers, wiggle your toes - the spreader should "stick like paint" and conform to your skin. If it isn't absolutely smooth, start over.6) Gently roll your socks up over your feet; feel again, make sure the spreader hasn't shifted.7) When you put on your shoes, stretch those open with your fingers as well.8) Run for a long time. Notice that your feet don't hurt like they did without spreaders, or bad ones.9) When you are done, take off your shoes and feel around the spreaders with the socks still on.10) Roll off your socks, inside out, heel to toe. If you put them on correctly, the spreaders should still be straight. Your toes will probably be extra pink, but not red or blistered.Tomorrow, I will try using these spreaders with hiking boots for a 5 mile hike on a muddy trail, perhaps with doubled socks. If they work for that as well, I will be one very happy camper!-------Added note: Over the last six months, I've walked more than 500 miles with these spreaders. Two pair are still in the bag, the other three pair are slightly dingy looking but still working great, no tears or holes. I will purchase another five pair bag to make sure I have a lifetime supply.Best wishes to Povihome; please continue making a great product, and please continue selling to the USA!
