This does not come with a remote and I have not had them long enough to see if they can handle any weather other than the Texan winter sun. I like the light level not too bright and bright enough. I like the hole above the light to hang them. I like plastic bulbs because we get gusty winds here and I don't want them to be glass and break. I have extra bulbs which is a plus. I've had them for a few weeks and love them. Now I can enjoy our garden more with this light.
