Review on 📺 J-Tech Digital JTD0104/4K 4 Port HDMI Splitter - Enhancing Ultra HD 4K 3840x2160 Resolution with 3D Support by Brett Zhu

This device appears to work well with a relatively short HDMI cable. However, if you want to use it to pass an HDMI signal to another room in your house, you could be in trouble. When I use this unit with a 50ft HDMI cable going to our bedroom TV, there is no sound on the bedroom TV - only video. Video quality looks okay with the 50ft cable, but again there's no sound. If I plug a 50ft cable straight into the source (bypassing the J-Tech HDMI junction box) I get good sound and picture in the bedroom. So the problem is definitely with this panel. I suspect the device is not amplifying/buffering the signal enough to split it into 4 parts. Perhaps instead it is passively separating the signal and therefore reducing the signal strength. Anyway, it's not suitable for our purposes, so we'll have to return it and try something else.
