Review on π Versa Top 16-Inch All Glass AAG29016 Aquarium by Michael Vargas
Ideal for Aqueon Neo Glow 5.5L Aquarium.
I have a 5.5 gallon Aqueon Neo Glow tank. It came with a plastic cap and LED lights built into the hood, but the built in filter was very noisy and I didn't like the fact that I had to remove the entire cap to clean it. This glass attachment is perfect for my Penn Plax 100 HOB cascade filter. The only thing I don't really care about is the thickness of the plastic seam that connects the two pieces of glass. This can be a little detrimental when it comes to lighting and live plants. I now have pendant lighting over the aquarium and that has helped a bit. Overall I am satisfied with the quality and perfect for my aquarium.
- For specialty store use Versa tops are constructed of heavy 3/16 inch thick glass with serrated venting corners and larger glass sections for easier handling.
