I recently stumbled across this brand and was impressed with everything I got from them. I liked this charm, a ball of 8 hearts. It makes sense to me as we are a family of 8. The pendant itself is shiny silver and seems to be the right size for me. A little less and you won't be able to see it, a little more and it will look weird. I am not happy with the chain. I expected it to be a light and "starter" chain, and it is. But I was surprised that the chain is not as shiny as the pendant. It is a dull gray silver, not the light silver of the amulet. I had to clean it up and it got brighter, but I found it odd that one was shiny and the other wasn't. It's a box chain so it's strong and should hold up well. I would have no hesitation in giving it to a child aged 10 and 13 and have worn it with no problem.
