Perfect match for my new Asus T91MT Netbook

I bought this to use with my new Asus T91MT Netbook. It's the perfect fit and finish to complement my T91MT. I don't use the included stand because I prefer to hold the discs horizontally. It comes with a mini USB 2.0 cable with a Y adapter that requires two free USB ports on your computer. That's my only gripe because my netbook, like most others, only has two USB ports. But I think it's still better than needing a separate power supply. You connect the mini-USB end to the drive, and both USB ports connect to the computer. One plug is used for the power supply, the other as the interface between the drive and the PC. If you are using a USB hub, make sure it has power. The hard drive was recognized and immediately installed in Windows 7 Home Premium. So far the drive has been running flawlessly. The writing speed is good and I haven't made a stand after about a dozen discs. The disc came with the Cyberlink Power2Go software, but I already had Roxio so I didn't install the Cyberlink software. I also used this drive to burn DVDs on an older XP machine that only has a CD-R/RW drive. The DVD recorder also works perfectly there. I had no problems recognizing the hard drives. I have used commercial discs and self-burning CDs and DVDs to load the data. I prefer to use higher quality media when writing, so this may help avoid problems writing or accessing data later. Nothing more to say than that it works great, records great at the 8X and 4X speeds selected and hasn't ruined a single disc (so far). Out of all the portable DVD burners I've considered, I'm happy with this one so far.
