It is as described! That works great! The only problem I have is that the part that tightens around my finger doesn't get small enough to stay on my finger. To help you, I wear medium to large gloves. The medium gloves are too small and the large ones are too big (glove sizes). Velcro around the finger. Keeping it clean where it doesn't move just isn't something you can do unless you have thumbs. I wear a size 8 ring on my index finger. If that helps. Not enough velcro to get it right enough! Men should have no problem making it snug enough that it doesn't move. Plus it's a great purchase and I would definitely recommend it if you do inventory, scan barcodes, create barcodes, etc. It's nice and small! The battery life has been good so far! I've only used it a few times without recharging the original charge when I first bought it! I still don't have to charge it and it's been a few months!
