The shaver looks well made. It is easy to open and close, and the long textured handle is easy to use and non-slip. However, I have never used a safety razor and have ripped a chunk out of my ankle as well as several other cuts. It was difficult to get the right angle on my feet. My son-in-law tried it and it worked well for his face, but he said it was a much more aggressive razor than he would like. He shaved well, but he felt it pulling harder and he had to move more slowly.
