Review on Enhance Your Aquarium Filtration with Fluval Edge Pre-Filter Sponge - A1387 by Athena Harris

I have a 30 gallon aquarium and have used an Aqua Clear 70 filter for 10 years. The filter doesn't get dirty and my little fish and frogs don't get sucked into the filter. That works great. but must be clean for 5-7 days, otherwise it will stop the water flow if the dirty manhole lasts 6 months before needing a new one. That's not the problem I have. Each one I buy does not stay on the intake pipe, it even falls off with a small hole, and over time the top of the sponge and the hole stretch. I can only save that with a colorless rubber band. Fish don't mind rubber bands. but it looks ugly. Used rubber band for 10 years, wish they had done better or specifically for the Aqua Clear 70 filter inlet tube.
