It's made of glass!
We had this timer for almost a year and used it at least twice a day. Then our little one found that she could take it apart. We didn't really bother until she dropped part of the timer on the tile and it broke into a million pieces. Who would make something like that out of glass?! Honestly I can't believe it took so long (hence 2 stars instead of 1). I will definitely not buy another one. Both kids get stuck on the bathroom counter while we vacuum the floor with a million tiny shards of glass. I do not recommend.
