These socks are the perfect balance of "Goldilocks" - not too thin and not too thick. I have several pairs of socks that are so thin you can feel the cold ground through them as if you were barefoot. It's ok in summer, but useless in winter. I also have a pair of cozy winter socks which are very thick and cannot be worn with shoes! Who designs them? They aren't cheap either. And no, my shoes are not small, my socks are just incredibly thick. Either way, it's nice to find ones that are warm enough to wear socks at home alone without getting cold in winter, as well as indoor shoes (a lot of people like to do this with socks!). Also, I think I'm picky because I don't like cheap sports socks that are mostly polyester and have the brand name on them. So for me it was a find.
