After we delivered the speaker, we put it in the basement to avoid running cables through or through the walls. The sound was rich and the connection was stable. We were very happy with the purchase. A few months later and unknown to us until this evening, our tenant was having some anger management issues and after apparently receiving some messages he didn't like decided to use the speaker as a door ram. After a few hours and several damaged doors, everything finally settled down (fortunately no one was hurt). We thought we were done with the speaker as there was no way the speaker could withstand such abuse for so long and still sound good. Here we plug it in and turn it on and it sounds as good as the day we bought it. Now I'm thinking about using it as a sledgehammer to tear down my old concrete patio while playing classic Tom Petty songs.
