There are deviations, in general it is tolerable.

I had a Panasonic RP-HJE120. There basses were such that they gave in the nose. Immediately barely audible even on the bass settings of the equalizer. Well, this is half the trouble. At first I thought that the headphones were defective when I heard a terrible squeal. It turned out to be terrible high frequencies. It's impossible to listen. An equalizer will fix all this. Now I dream of my Panasonic for 300r.
