I liked the price tag because I keep losing roulettes. but that's all. I'll try to keep it simple. Disadvantages1. The strap is thinner than other brands. This results in easier bending of the shape. 3 out of 6 are so bent after use on small jobs that they do not fully retract.2. Lock/brake is finicky. The locking mechanism has no sweet spot. It's pretty much on or off. The springs are coiled so tightly that when released, the band will do triple somersaults from 8 feet. Once it starts retreating, the gap is useless. I actually think this is one of the reasons why the tape deforms so quickly, pulling into the edge and bursting the end like a runaway fire hose. The hook is small compared to other more modern bands. I don't know if it's due to the smooth texture of the back of the hook or if it's not strong enough in the band causing it to lift/tilt. but it's hard to get anything. Benefits1. The price is reasonable, good luck if you decide to try it. This is basically a use of the project, if at all.
