The battery is not charging. The LED backlit screen is very dim and cannot be seen in daylight.

The device worked fine for a couple of weeks, but then it wouldn't hold a charge. I plugged it into the charger but it only wants to charge up to 3 bars. Also, the backlit LED screen is very dim and almost undetectable in daylight.
