This was the best option with enough room for D batteries. Many other organizers have very little room for D batteries, making them a bit useless if you have one are a Costco member. :) One problem, as everyone has noticed, the organizer comes with all the foam cutouts still in the holes. See image. But most of them popped out and were pretty easy to pull out. Pro tip: the rest slide out the other way, so just flip the foam over for easy access. Another pro tip: don't remove the CR123A (the little ones between the D battery slots) as the holes are too deep for these batteries. Insert the inserts instead and they will help you not push the batteries in too far when inserting them. The only criticism is the battery tester. It works but not as accurate as my digital one. I probably won't use it. People have complained that the box is weak, but I think it's strong enough. It's beautiful and lightweight for easy carrying. We'll see how long the hinges and clasps last, but they seem strong enough and I don't go camping with them, so I expect them to last. there is still space to fill in, and i wanted to organize that better. My old wall organizer that never had enough space is now in the trash.
