I think they work fine but I bought them to fix a coffee maker and they still don't quite fit me. So far I've had three such strokes, but not from extreme temperatures. My coffee maker seems to have worn out after about a month. They are rated at 10A and my coffee maker draws around 8A. Even though the coffee maker draws a little less than 10A it still burns out over time. Yesterday, before I disposed of this and my old coffee machine, I installed two of them in parallel. I hope this splits the current going through each thermal fuse and solves this problem while still protecting the coffee maker from overheating. The time will show.
